Gastech (dmg events) – Global Event Brand Rollout, Environmental Graphics & Information Design

Gastech is one of the world's largest energy exhibitions and conferences, bringing together global leaders across natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, and climate technologies.

As Head of Design, I led the implementation of a new global event identity developed by external branding agency Wiedemann Lampe, translating the brand into a scalable visual system across a complex international event environment.

My role focused on applying and embedding the brand across marketing, sales, exhibitor, digital, print, and on-site communications, ensuring consistency across a wide range of formats, stakeholders, and audience groups. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, I helped bridge the gap between brand strategy and practical delivery at scale.

The work shown here includes examples of event communications, environmental graphics, and brand applications from Gastech Houston (2024), Gastech Milan (2025), and the ongoing development of Gastech Bangkok (2026). While the core identity was created by Wiedemann Lampe, my responsibility was to lead its implementation and adaptation across the wider event ecosystem.

Alongside campaign and brand implementation work, I developed large-scale exhibition floorplans, zoning systems, and wayfinding assets, translating complex venue layouts, conference programmes, exhibitor sectors, and visitor journeys into clear visual communication tools. These projects combined information design, spatial planning, and brand application within a highly complex live event environment.

I also worked onsite to support live event execution, directing photography teams, coordinating visual content capture, and contributing to real-time social media communications throughout the event.

This project demonstrates my experience translating brand systems into cohesive, large-scale event environments while maintaining consistency across fast-paced, high-profile international programmes.
