Bringing over 20 years of experience shaping visual stories across brand, editorial, and event design, I work across the intersection of aesthetics, communication, and structured thinking.
I design with clarity, structure, and curiosity — turning complex ideas into calm, coherent visual systems. I’m drawn to work that balances clarity and imagination, where ideas are shaped into design that feels intentional, expressive, and resolved.
My approach is grounded in curiosity and collaboration. I enjoy working through complexity, refining ideas, and developing visual systems that bring structure and meaning to communication.
Over the years, I’ve led design teams, shaped workflows, and delivered across multi-channel environments spanning publishing, media, and large-scale events. At the core, I care about creating work that feels considered, purposeful, and clear.
I’m currently interested in opportunities within thoughtful, design-led teams where creativity is valued for both the thinking and the output it produces.
Let’s make something meaningful together.

CAREER HISTORY
-
2024 - Present
At Gastech, I’m responsible for global visual communication across a large-scale international B2B exhibition and conference (50,000 attendees, 7,000 delegates), including a full event rebrand and the development of an ongoing multi-channel campaign system. I progressed from Design Manager to Head of Design, expanding ownership across creative systems, team leadership, and cross-functional coordination. When I joined, there was no centralised design filing system, no structured image library, and no formal briefing process. A significant part of my role has been establishing the foundations for how design is organised, accessed, and delivered across the business — bringing structure to both creative production and cross-team collaboration.
I lead visual identity and brand application across a global event ecosystem spanning print, digital, exhibitor, and large-format communications, ensuring consistency across all audience touchpoints.
I also direct the end-to-end delivery of annual event design output, including marketing, sales, exhibitor, and delegate communications, shaping how campaigns are visually translated across multiple channels and stakeholder groups.
Alongside this, I manage cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders across marketing, operations, and sales, coordinating parallel global workstreams and aligning priorities across departments.
I oversee the internal design team structure as well as a wider freelance network, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery across high-volume international event programmes.

September 2023 - February 2024
At Monmar Consulting, a brand and marketing agency supporting start-up and scale-up businesses, I worked across strategic design, branding, and content creation, delivering identity and communication systems across a diverse range of sectors.
I developed brand strategies and identity systems for client projects including a pub loyalty programme, covering brand identity, guidelines, and supporting literature design from concept through to delivery.
I also produced campaign and content work across digital platforms, including social media strategy and visual content creation for brands spanning skincare, pet products, hair care, and pharmaceuticals.
Working closely with founders and stakeholders, I helped define brand direction, communication goals, and visual positioning across multiple client projects, contributing to both creative output and broader brand development.
This role provided exposure to fast-moving brand development across early-stage and scaling businesses.

March - August 2023
At Cryptolytx, a start-up focused on translating qualitative research, expert insight, and data into accessible, decision-ready content, I led the development of the brand identity and visual communication system.I established the visual tone of the organisation across digital and communication platforms, creating a cohesive design language for marketing, social, and product-facing materials.
I designed and produced a range of brand and communication assets, including marketing content, presentations, and investor-facing materials, supporting both audience engagement and business communication.
This role involved defining how complex information is visually structured and communicated, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility across all outputs.
-
January 2022 - March 2023
In early 2022, I co-founded Niteo, a branding and design studio delivering identity and campaign work across fintech, events, fashion, entertainment, and social impact sectors.
I led the development of brand identities and visual communication systems for client projects, shaping how organisations expressed themselves across digital, print, and campaign platforms.
Working directly with clients and founders, I defined creative direction, translated brand strategy into visual systems, and delivered end-to-end design solutions across multiple concurrent projects.
Niteo provided a platform for combining strategic thinking with hands-on creative leadership, operating across fast-moving, multi-sector briefs with a focus on clarity, consistency, and brand impact.

July 2017 - Dec 2021
Law Business Research (formerly Globe Business Media Group) is a global publishing and events organisation where I progressed from Creative Artworker through to Head of Design over the course of my tenure.
I initially joined as part of the in-house design team, working across editorial design, data visualisation, and content creation for legal publications, as well as digital and event-related communications. As the role evolved, I was promoted into Studio Manager, leading a small design team and overseeing the delivery of print and digital outputs across tight deadlines and multiple concurrent briefs.
Following a merger and wider organisational restructuring, I was later promoted to Head of Design, where I led the visual rebrand and alignment of 15+ brands across a global publishing and events ecosystem.
In this role, I was responsible for establishing consistent brand systems across editorial, marketing, and international event communications, ensuring coherence across a complex multi-brand environment. I led and mentored a multi-disciplinary team, including designers, videographers, and freelancers, and worked closely with stakeholders and brand owners to align creative output with organisational goals.
This role marked a significant shift from production-led design work into systems-led creative leadership across a large-scale, multi-brand organisation.
-
August 2005 - June 2017
At Polyco, a commercial and industrial manufacturing business, I worked as part of an in-house creative team delivering end-to-end design across both B2B and B2C audiences.
My role covered a wide range of design output across industrial and retail product lines, spanning hand protection solutions for construction, automotive, and engineering sectors, as well as consumer-facing retail communications.
I was responsible for creating multi-channel design materials including print and digital advertising, product catalogues, packaging, point-of-sale, email newsletter design, social media assets, infographics, and exhibition graphics, supporting both product launches and ongoing brand communications.
Working closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, and product development, I translated technical and commercial information into clear, structured visual communication across multiple formats and audiences.
This role developed the foundations of my end-to-end production capability, from concept and layout through to final artwork and print-ready delivery.

Jun 2013 - Present
As an independent design practice, I work across community, cultural, and event-based projects, specialising in henna artistry alongside illustration and visual design for live experiences and commissioned work.
I combine freehand illustration (including traditional henna design) with digital design thinking to create visual systems for event branding, stationery, and surface-based applications.
My work focuses on translating ideas and themes into clear, cohesive visual outcomes, ensuring consistency across both printed and applied design contexts.

May - July 2005
During my university placement at Springetts, a brand consultancy, I gained early experience in professional packaging and brand design environments.
I supported the studio with packaging mock-ups, research, mood board development, and the creation of promotional communications for client projects, working within structured brand development processes.
I also contributed to the organisation and management of visual asset libraries, gaining early exposure to the importance of structured image systems within fast-paced studio environments.
This experience provided a foundation in brand thinking, visual research, and design process discipline, which has informed my approach to commercial design work since.
