Henna Style Illustration
This body of work explores the translation of traditional henna motifs into digital illustration, developed through Adobe Illustrator to extend hand-drawn techniques into scalable visual systems.
Drawing on extensive experience in henna design, I adapt intricate pattern-based work into structured digital compositions, enabling greater flexibility across colour, layout, and application.
The process allows traditional ornamental forms to be reinterpreted for contemporary use across print, merchandise, and surface-based design applications, including digital platforms such as Redbubble.
This practice sits between craft and digital design, focusing on how hand-generated visual languages can evolve into adaptable illustration systems while retaining their decorative and cultural character.
